St. Luke Health Services was awarded a $5,000 grant through the City of Oswego’s Second Round of REVIVAL Funding. The pool of funding follows a $340,000 first round REVIVAL fund announced earlier this year from the City of Oswego’s American Rescue Plan allocation passed by the federal government in February. To date the city’s REVIVAL fund has provided funding to 19 different non-profit organizations, four civic clubs and over 50 different local businesses.

St. Luke Health Services CEO and Administrator Cathy Gill, along with Greg Osetek, Director of Community Relations, were on hand to receive the award from City of Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow and Common Council President Robert Corradino.

The grant will be used to help renovate and improve the accessibility of St. Luke’s interior courtyard area, which is used as a place for family visits and resident activities.   

 Julie Chetney, Director of Senior Services at St. Luke’s thanked the City of Oswego and Mayor Barlow and said, “The past two years have shown us the importance of having safe and pleasant outdoor space for residents to enjoy, visit, and simply get fresh air. This Grant will help us improve upon our central courtyard allowing opportunities for our folks to enjoy and gather for years to come.”
