The Oswego County Office for the Aging has partnered with the United Way of Greater Oswego County to host the second annual senior picnic June 26, at Breitbeck Park in Oswego.

A picnic lunch of pulled pork on a Kaiser roll, coleslaw and fresh fruit cup will be served at noon.

Before lunch, participants can enjoy a round of bunco or a leisurely mile walk around the newly re-opened Breitbeck Park Trail. After lunch, the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office will give a presentation on “Scams – what to look for and how to avoid them.” To close out the day, guests will be entertained by local music talent Deanna Hubbard.

The event is made possible by funding provided by area businesses, including St. Luke Health Services.

The picnic is free for seniors age 60 or older; guests younger than age 60 will be charged $6. Reservations are required. To reserve your space, call the Oswego County Office for the Aging at 315-349-3484 by June 18.
