The Cornerstone Club in Fulton will host a workshop presented by the Alzheimer’s Association entitled, “The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease”, on Friday, June 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This educational workshop is free of charge and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. The Cornerstone Club is located at 808 W. Broadway (State Route 3) Suite A, Fulton, in the new Catholic Charities building.

If Alzheimer’s disease or dementia affects you or someone you know, it is time to learn the facts. This program discusses the difference between normal aging and dementia, explores how the brain works, defines dementia and goes through the different stages of the disease, explains the importance of clinical trials and gives an overview of the programs and services offered by the Alzheimer's Association.
