Bishop’s Commons is pleased to welcome Patrick Dewine, Executive Director of United Way of Great Oswego County to the next “Learn and Lunch” event on Thursday, March 21st, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“Learn and Lunch” is a community event held monthly and features a half-hour informational program followed by a free lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert.

Patrick Dewine, Executive Director of United Way of Greater Oswego County, is welcomed by Julie Chetney, Director of Senior Services at Bishop’s Commons. Dewine will be guest presenter at the next “Learn and Lunch” event at Bishop’s Commons on Thursday, March 21st.

Mr. Dewine will offer guests an overview of United Way of Greater Oswego County, which is part of a national network of about 1,300 United Ways, and speak to how the organization improves lives by fostering partnerships, mobilizing the community to give and volunteer, raising awareness of local human needs and supporting solutions that address those needs. He will share the impact United Way has in our area through the twenty-four programs and sixteen partner agencies that they help fund.

“Learn and Lunch” is free of charge and open to the public. Because of the popularity of this event, those planning to attend should RSVP to Bishop’s Commons at 315-349-0799 by Monday 3/18.
