November L and L at BC Features RSVP 1 23

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will be featured at this month’s “Learn and Lunch” on November 16th. Pictured (left to right) is Julie Chetney, Director of Senior Services at Bishop’s Commons, with RSVP Interim Director Sarah Ingerson.

This month Bishop’s Commons invites guests to learn how RSVP encourages and fosters the development and maintenance of volunteer opportunities that engage, support and enhance the lives of those 55+. Ingerson will talk about how RSVP volunteers are making a difference through their many programs in our community and how those interested can become involved.

The event is set for Thursday, November 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. “Learn and Lunch” is a community event held monthly and features a half-hour informational program followed by a lunch that includes soup, salad and dessert. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Due to limited space and the popularity of this event, reservations are required. Those planning to attend in November are asked to reserve your seat by calling Bishop’s Commons at 315-349-0799 before Monday, 11/13.

Bishop’s Commons is conveniently located at 4 Burkle Street in the City of Oswego, easily accessible to families and visitors.
